Around the world

I would love to paint all the beautiful courses I played all over the world, but that might not be possible in my lifetime. Therefore I will only show some personal highlights here.

Druids Glen in Wicklow, Ireland, is home to the most flowery and beautiful Parkland course I’ve ever played. On some tees you would almost prefer to take pictures rather than take your shot. The view is spectacular, oscillating between colourful and mystical, but the tee shot(s) is (are) simply a merciless challenge. My original painting of the 18th has the honour to be displayed in the Pro Shop of this stylish club full of tradition. Maybe others will follow one day?

I visited La Manga in Spain, a spectacular golf resort with 3 courses, in spring of 2019. On the West Course I holed a shot from the greenside bunker for birdie on hole 14. That led to the picture in Spanish colours immediately on the spot. Muchas Gracias La Manga!
